Park Place Technologies partners will gain new capabilities from the company’s acquisition of Reliant Technology, a third-party maintenance, support and hardware provider.

This is Park Place Technologies’ (No. 178 on the 2021 MSP 501) second acquisition of 2022 and 20th since 2016.

Reliant Technology offers third-party maintenance and support for storage, network and server devices. The business supports all major OEM brands and serves nearly 500 clients in North America, Africa, Europe and Asia.

“This addition of Reliant Technology’s resources will strengthen Park Place’s storage, server and networking parts supply chain, a critical issue for many of our partners,” he said. “We are also adding engineering expertise in many OEM brands, including Dell EMC, HPE, Cisco, IBM and several others. Reliant also has experience in verticals such as transportation, health care and banking that will bolster our existing expertise.”

Cost savings will continue to be a focus, which is an obvious benefit for all partners, Jones said.

“Our professional services offerings, already robust since the 2020 acquisition of Curvature, will also deepen,” he said.

Park Place Adds Reliant Technology to Curvature

Park Place will add Reliant’s hardware inventory to Curvature, its‘ new and pre-owned hardware division. Even during these ongoing supply chain disruptions, Curvature has remained resilient.

“The acquisition will provide Reliant’s partners access to many more products and services,” Jones said.

Along with a focus on organic growth through sales, Park Place Technologies leverages its legacy strengths and bolsters its newer offerings through strategic acquisitions, he said.

“We will continue to acquire maintenance businesses, develop managed service offerings, and ramp up road map visions for software, edge, crypto and wireless capabilities,” Jones said.

Reliant’s Next Chapter

Reliant Technology was founded in 2007 by CEO and sole owner Reid Smith-Vaniz.

“We have taken Reliant Technology as far as we can and realize our customers need an evolved product set and greater resources as they grow,” he said. “We’ve built an incredible culture and team at Reliant Technology that I know will align well with Park Place. I’m excited to learn that as Park Place has grown, it has retained its commitment to human touch and personal investment in its clients.”
