Kaseya has completed the integration of its acquisition of account receivables automation company ConnectBooster. This acquisition will enhance Kaseya’s platform, IT Complete, adding a suite for automated billing and collections.

ConnectBooster automates the collections process for recurring and one-time services in a secure and resilient environment. Essentially, this channel-centric hub integrates with tools to reconcile accounts and billing, while streamlining back-office activities. This will save IT professionals significant amounts of time and money, both of which are more precious than ever.

“Every acquisition we make is aimed at making life easier for our MSP customers,” said Kaseya CEO Fred Voccola. “By fully integrating ConnectBooster into IT Complete, we’re able to help free up time for MSPs to focus on growing their businesses, and that ensures they can be more productive and profitable.”

Automated Billing and Documentation

The second part of this is providing the right kit to MSPs.

“Not only do we provide the software kit for MSPs to offer all the managed services that our customers want, but we also provide it to help them run and automate their own business,” Voccola told Channel Futures. “That’s why we bought IT Glue [for] automated documentation. That’s why we bought Business Management Solutions (BMS). This is why we bought Datto – for Autotask – the PSA component runs the MCS business. So, that’s why we bought ConnectBooster, which is by far the dominant platform for the automation of credit collections and receivables for MSPs.”

Giving Up the Chase

Not surprisingly, end-of-month billing is a pain for any company. So, by implementing automated billing, MSPs need no longer chase their customers for payments. There’s also no need for the manual adjusting of what customers are paying as roles and billing fluctuate. Again, this saves massive amounts of time and spend on all fronts.

“The MSP business model is a very transactional model relative to the size of the business,” said Voccola. “You take an MSP that does a million dollars of revenue. The MSP has maybe 50 times as much financial complexity in the invoicing, the billing, what the customer is consuming, than say, a dentist’s office. There are hundreds and hundreds of financial transactions that lead to invoices that lead to billing collection discrepancies. That is next to impossible to manage for a company of ten, fifteen, twenty people. It is prohibitively time consuming. This integration will make it so much easier for the MSP to run their financial operations, to the point where they won’t need to add multiple accountants or billing or invoicing.”

Fully Integrated

ConnectBooster is now fully integrated with Kaseya BMS and Datto AutoTask.

“We have benefited from ConnectBooster’s ability to save us time and money, and we are thrilled that it is being integrated into Kaseya’s complete platform of software solutions,” said Levon Parker, CEO, Ascencion IT. “… based on our experience with Kaseya previous acquisitions, we fully expect ConnectBooster to bring more innovations to market as a result of increased investment from Kaseya. The combination of Kaseya and ConnectBooster could be really transformational for my business.”

ConnectBooster is the latest addition to Kaseya’s signature platform, IT Complete. The platform is a suite of solutions designed to solve vendor fatigue, lack of technician efficiency, limited software utilization and budget. The technology homes in on boosting the accuracy and cash flow, and strikes down mundane accounting tasks.

Additionally, customers and partners with ConnectBooster qualify for the Kaseya Global Partner Program. This program provides enablement team support, live technical webinars, free passes to industry events, and more.

ConnectBooster will continue to operate as its existing brand out of its headquarters in Fargo, North Dakota.
