Aerohive Networks this week pushed out a new cloud-enabled mobility management solution to help IT administrators simplify managing devices.

The WiFi technology provider designed its new Mobility Suite to give IT administrators with a way to balance privacy and control across the spectrum of use cases.

The solution lets administrators give users access to a self-service portal so they can onboard devices.

The Mobility Suite works together with Aerohive’s Cooperative Control access points, routers and switches to create a unified, mobile-centric access layer with consistent management across mobile clients and wireless or wired networks.

Aerohive Senior Marketing Manager Abby Strong told MSPmentor that "a complete mobility suite allows an administrator to manage the complete spectrum of clients, from transient guests to devices that need to have completely controlled content, apps, and user experience.

"The complete solution will integrate with the network infrastructure to provide a seamless onboarding, management, and troubleshooting experience for administrators and end users," she said.

Additionally, the new product suite enables channel partners to "increase deal sizes by selling additional applications to existing and new customers," Strong said.

"It also elevates our mobility management story to provide a competitive advantage over other wireless LAN vendors without an integrated client strategy," she added.

The Mobility Suite includes three main components: the Client Management application, ID Manager application, and partner integrations with AirWatch and JAMF mobile device management software.
