Amtel, VAR Dynamics Partner on Mobile Device Management SaaS

Cloud-based mobile device management platform provider Amtel is partnering with VAR Dynamics to distribute its mobile device management (MDM) software as a service (SaaS) through a new network of channel partners.

The partnership will assist Amtel with its expansion into the distributor network by leveraging VAR Dynamics' network of managed services providers (MSPs), system integrators (SIs), competetive local exchange carriers (CLEC) and professional service consultants, Amtel said.

Not only will the partnership expand Amtel's distributor network, but it will also increase its enterprise footprint, Amtel added.

VAR Dynamics said the partnership with Amtel will enable its channel partners to leverage growth in the mobility management market.

"Through our partnership with VAR Dynamics, Amtel expands its reach in enterprise and SMB markets for mobile device management," Amtel CEO PJ Gupta said in a statement,. "Organizations need a robust and cost-effective MDM solution to take control and minimize risks."

VAR Dynamics President and CEO Tony Francisco said in a prepared statement that his company's "cloud-based mobile device management solution provides immediate ROI" for its partners.

"Amtel is a strategic partner for us providing BYOD management solutions to our channel partners for iPad management, iPhone management and Android device management," he said.
