The client is one of the world’s largest casual dining chains, with more than 1,000 restaurants.
The Challenge
Social media has leveled the playing field, allowing small boutique stores, hotels and restaurants to compete effectively against major brands without large outlays of advertising dollars. The move has forced many major brands to reinvent the customer experience, finding and investing in new ways to engage with customers online before, during and after the sale. One way in which this is being done is by offering customers free Wi-Fi accompanied by a customized mobile app that serves up daily deals and rewards loyalty.{ad}
The client wanted NSi to outfit its more than 1,000 restaurants with the bandwidth to deliver secure Wi-Fi to customers at no cost and lay the groundwork to launch the company’s new mobile app while managing the day-to-day health of the multilocation wireless network. And all of this needed to be done in record time.
The Solution
