PRESS RELEASE — CHANNEL PARTNERS CONFERENCE & EXPO — April 18, 2018 — CSF Corporation (booth #9022), the leader in toll-free provisioning and least cost routing, today announces the expected release of 8MS 15.0, an updated version of their flagship offering, 8MS Cloud. 8MS Cloud is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform, that simplifies and automates toll-free number provisioning and complex routing through a simple administrative interface.
Users can expect to see a host of new features and capabilities in 8MS 15.0 expected to launch in May 2018.
For starters, there is an all new notifications feature allowing users to register for notifications of particular events, including Resp Org Changes (when a TFN has been turned over to your company), User changes (when a user type, user or password has been modified) and Bulletins: general, site switch, down time, and urgent notifications. Users can set preferences as to when they would like notifications to occur including daily, weekly, as well as by email, text, or simply logging in. This feature gives user the ability to control notifications for personal reminders.
Additionally, users can receive notifications directly from CSF about updates on 8MS! All of this can easily be accessed through the “Notification Bell” icon in the top right hand corner of the screen, along with a small number bubble which lets users know how many notifications are waiting for them when they login.
Looking ahead at future releases, the team at CSF hopes to expand on this feature, offering other types of event notifications.
Also exciting is the new Search Local TeXT feature which allows users to view the current and past status of their toll-free and long code text-enabled number inventory.
15.0 will also allow Long codes in Number Lists so users can text activate or text disconnect batches of toll-free and long codes.
Other feature updates worth mentioning in 15.0 are:
Switch Company allows 8MS TeXT Reseller customers manage their texting customers.
ROC: all file names for LOA documents and other files will now be validated locally.
Password character increase from 8 to 32.
Edit Plan 2.0 (Non-Java Applet Version) continues to improve, now with ability to edit and validate nodes and branches. More to come in 16.0!
Matt Petr, Vice President of Technology commented on the update, “We’re really excited to share with our customers all of these great new features. We see this release particularly being beneficial to the work our customers are doing, especially those that are adding texting to their numbers.“
Customers looking to expand their texting offerings, can also look to newly produced white-lable marketing materials provided by courtesy of CSF. Customers can take advantage of a completely customizable two-page brochure that details the benefits of text-enabling your business numbers, as well as an animated 60-second video that can easily be embedded on one’s website. Customers who re-brand these materials can then re-distribute them among their clients looking to get the most out of text-enabling their numbers.
CSF will be showcasing the SaaS 8MS Cloud, offering live demos of the Conversations text messaging application, and providing customers with customizable marketing materials at the Channel Partners Conference, April 17th-20th in Las Vegas, NV. Stop by and visit their booth #8873 and pick up a T-shirt or Bluetooth keychain tracker.
