MSP 501 Fast-Growth List: Revved-Up Revenue
Meet the 52 MSPs from the 2023 MSP 501 with the highest total revenue increases in 2022.
September 1, 2023
Welcome to the MSP 501 Fast-Growth List of managed service providers with the highest total revenue increases in 2022, the year the survey covered.
Security solutions drove the growth of almost every MSP during the last 18 months. But these 52 MSPs took growth to the next level by implementing a slew of unique, smart and innovative initiatives. Those include adding new services, quickly adjusting business models to address an increase in remote work, fine tuning strategic operations, shifting valued employees to key roles, formalizing hiring processes to find the right candidate in a tight labor market, and buying companies to fit a missing piece of the puzzle.
Speaking of M&A, for the first time we break down the master list into two sub-groups: those that grew through the help of M&A and those that grew organically. Cinch I.T. based in Worcester, Massachusetts, for example, was a bit of a unique MSP on the list in that company grew from an increase in demand for hot solutions and through the power of its 13 franchisees across the county.
Cinch I.T.'s Anthony Archambault
Anthony Archambault, the company’s director of customer success, does not see that growth slowing down anytime soon.
“We certainly saw substantial growth when it came to cybersecurity and supporting a remote workforce,” said Archambault, whose company ranked 394 on the MSP 501 and 36 on the Fast-Growth. “Those solutions continue to evolve to more of a cloud-based infrastructure versus local because less dependency on having a headquarters or physical office environment.”
In the coming months, we’ll feature in-depth case studies from the Fast-Growth MSPs who’ll illustrate the moves they made and the paths they took to reach the top. Anyone interested in applying for Channel Futures MSP 501 ranking can sign up here for notifications on the availability of the 2024 application form. Meanwhile, congratulations to all of the MSPs who worked incredibly hard to make the list. Your participation means as much to us as the awards mean to you and your employees.
Verinext's Brian Glahn
“From an employee perspective they love these awards,” said Brian Glahn, CEO of Verinext, No. 436 on the MSP 501 list and No. 8 on the Fast Growth. “It’s so good for them because their work’s being recognized. I wish I could say I'm the one to take the credit, but they deserve the acknowledgment and appreciate it.”
