AttackIQ partners now have access to the new AttackIQ Partner Academy. It’s a central hub where they can learn about the latest advancements in threat-informed defense.

Channel sales engineers and representatives will have access to everything they need to help customers improve their cybersecurity. They can also build stronger, more collaborative teams.

Carl Wright is AttackIQ‘s chief commercial officer. He said the onslaught of breaches and attacks has been crippling for organizations around the world.

“There is a better way to protect our data, privacy and patient care from adversaries,” he said. “Our channel partners are on the front line helping cybersecurity teams improve their security posture. Partner Academy arms them with the knowledge and skills they need to accelerate the adoption of a threat-informed defense practice. The time is now to launch advanced partner enablement, putting this practice in place, and helping organizations to evolve from a reactive to proactive threat-intelligence strategy.”

2 Learning Paths

AttackIQ’s Partner Academy offers two main learning paths. Training for sales features the foundations of operationalizing MITRE ATT&CK, purple teaming, and breach and attack simulation (BAS). Training for engineers features courses on assessment design for security controls, beyond atomic testing with attack flows and AttackIQ engineer essentials.

“Many of our partners were already registered as AttackIQ Academy students, which provides free education and certification to practitioners,” Wright said. “With BAS becoming one of Gartner’s top trends for 2021, our partners were looking for help explaining the criticality of the solution and value proposition behind security optimization. We ran a beta program first … to gather feedback and fine-tune our content. From start to finish, we were able to launch the program in seven weeks, since we had a strong foundation in place with the original AttackIQ Academy platform that serves 15,000-plus customers in 171 countries.”

Partners achieve either the AttackIQ professional certification or AttackIQ associate certification.

Differentiation for Partners

We bring tremendous differentiation to our partners, who wrap their expertise in services around our solution,” Wright said. “Customers need solutions, not just technology. It is imperative that the vendor community empowers partners to deliver solutions with business-value outcomes. AttackIQ Partner Academy provides large-scale, on-demand, partner selling and practice enablement. We are the only vendor in the BAS marketplace that has this today.”

Tera Davis is managing director of CriticalStart, an AttackIQ partner.

“Partner Academy is another great reason we have chosen to partner with AttackIQ.” she said. “Success is not just tied to the innovation of the products you sell, but also how you enable partners and customers to achieve their goals. AttackIQ has done something truly special with both AttackIQ Partner Academy and AttackIQ Academy for customers.”
