Ziply Fiber Rolls Out Agent Program with AppSmart, Intelisys, Telarus

Having acquired Frontier's assets in the Northwest, Ziply Fiber's partner program will be watched closely by agents.

Ziply Fiber, which acquired Frontier Communications’ Northwest operations and assets last year, has launched its agent channel program.

The program opens with more than 20 channel partners. Among them are big names such as AppSmart, GCG, Innovative, Intelisys, Sandler Partners, TBI, TCG, Telarus and Venicom.

Since acquiring the Frontier assets, Ziply Fiber has invested an additional $500 million to improve its network and services. Also, the company is building new fiber connectivity to dozens of cities and towns throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana.

The company says the agent program is a major step forward in its channel strategy across its four-state region.

“While we chose to honor the terms to continue paying commissions earned by agents under the Frontier agent agreement, we had not previously launched our own agent program,” he said. “We understand that many businesses rely on agents to be their trusted adviser, and in fact, many have maintained these relationships for years. Partnering with agents is an extension of partnering with the business we are serving to ensure they have the best customer experience available anywhere.”

Agent Program Benefits

Beyond its network differentiators, other benefits of Ziply Fiber’s agent program include competitive commissions; a dedicated channel team; and a single place for everything from site qualifications, to pricing requests and commission inquiries, to account and billing questions.

As the local provider for many towns and cities in the region, Ziply Fiber is serving government, education and health care organizations.

The company already has built and turned up fiber in more than a dozen cities that previously didn’t have access. It has five more cities in active builds, and plans to announce dozens more in the coming weeks.

With more than 4.2 million feet of new fiber deployed in the last few months, Ziply Fiber serves more than 210 regional cities and towns. Furthermore, it’s adding more every month to meet internet, data and voice needs.

“When agents bring Ziply Fiber to their business customers, they are bringing our purpose-built fiber optic network engineered to deliver extremely low latency, high reliability and unmatched performance,” Gellos said. “In addition to being authorized to sell an array of IP-based services like Ethernet internet access, managed Wi-Fi and voice services, agents can also sell highly customizable products like wavelength services and dark fiber that are not commonly available to the channel from many providers.”
