RINGCENTRAL CONNECT — RingCentral has unveiled innovations to help organizations bring together their preferred apps and services with a cloud-based business communications platform.

The news was announced during this week’s virtual RingCentral Connect conference. These new enhancements help developers build with the RingCentral platform. RingCentral also announced a range of new ISV partnerships.

David Lee is RingCentral‘s vice president of platform products.

“APIs and integrations are available to strategic partners’ customers, who can fulfill the same mission as the RingCentral-branded platform of enabling the creation of any custom workflow involving communication needs,” he said. “The other big value is our partners themselves get to co-innovate with RingCentral by building unique features for their customers.”

Partners will have access to all APIs and integrations, Lee said. They can build custom workflows that take care of all their communications needs.

“In fact, we already have a few projects with partners involving artificial intelligence (AI) and other innovations,” he said. “The goal is for them to bring in their unique technology stack, ecosystem or even data to create differentiated communication features.”

New APIs

New APIs include call performance analytics and audit trail.

The call performance API enables users to gather detailed calling and communications data to build a comprehensive analytics report, which can be tailored and customized to suit their needs.

With the audit trail API, users have access to enterprise functionality to track system configuration changes, and successful or failed logins to determine any breakages that need to be addressed. Users can query and sync log records, and perform compliance and anomaly detection.

Last quarter RingCentral announced RingCentral Add-ins, which brings the applications users depend on into the RingCentral App. From streamlining signatures to capturing engineering tasks, customers can have an interactive app experience directly within their messaging app, without toggling between multiple screens and applications.

RingCentral Add-ins is experiencing rapid momentum and has new integrations ready for customers this quarter with applications such as GitHub, Bugsnag, Trello and Akazio. Also coming this quarter is a new customer agent and sales integration with Hubspot, where users can click to dial, view call disposition, automatically log calls and more without having to leave their Hubspot environment.

RingCentral rolls out new APIs, software development kit (SDK) features and integration features every quarter.

New ISV Partners

And finally, RingCentral has several new partners that have joined its ISV Partnership Program. It offers lead retrievals, co-selling opportunities, internal team education and customer awareness. The new ISV partners are Akazio, Chili Piper, Enable.us, Keeper, Kustomer and Liquid Voice.

“Through app marketplace and our ISV Partnership Program, ISV partners gain a new and highly contextual lead-generation channel,” Lee said. “Many of our partners bring in unique capabilities that augment RingCentral’s offering, such as AI-based agent assist, custom data archival, connection to specific CRMs, expanded IT monitoring capabilities and even professional voice greetings. ”
