Hosted UC provider ANPI on Monday said it has named Gary Fry as vice president of carrier solutions.
At the same time, ANPI has formed a long-term partnership with Fry’s former company, United Gateway, a Dallas-headquartered, facilities-based provider of voice services.
Fry, in his new role, manages ANPI’s legacy carrier business and the United Gateway relationship. He’ll focus on reducing the cost of providing services, on developing new products and expanding industry relationships. The strategy comes as intercarrier compensation and other FCC changes spur providers to expand their portfolios.
Fry holds almost 20 years of experience in telecom. Prior to United Gateway, he worked for companies including Wiltel, Americatel/Matrix/Excel, Pacific Gateway, Exchange and ANI Networks.
