Avaya's Soderlund Resurfaces at Aruba Networks

Former Avaya channel exec Karl Soderlund has resurfaced at Aruba Networks Inc.

Aruba, which makes wireless appliances for the enterprise market, said this week Soderlund has been hired as vice president of worldwide channels. He’ll oversee recruitment, global alliances and international distribution.

Soderlund joins Aruba from Avaya, where he served as vice president of Americas channel sales from October 2011 until earlier this month. Before Avaya, Soderlund held executive sales and global alliances positions at Certeon, Hewlett-Packard, Fortinet, Extreme Networks and Cisco Systems.
