Axess Names New CEO

Axess Communications, a solutions provider based in Littleton, Colo., announced Friday that Jeff Myers has assumed the role of president and CEO.

He replaces Dave Brown, who will remain with the company as its chairman of the board. Myers has worked at Axess since Brown founded the company in 2002. Myers started out as vice president of sales and was promoted to general manager in 2008.

Myers also was a member of the CompTIA Convergence Group Advisory Council.

Axess provides business communications support for small, medium and enterprise customers nationwide. It specializes in telephone systems, data network solutions, cabling and carrier services. Among its supplier partners are Microsoft, Cisco, Hewlett Packard, Avaya, Extreme Networks and NEC.
