George Hope, well-known in the channel for his tenure as head of the HPE channel, is the new VP of Americas partner sales at Infoblox, the network security provider.
Hope, who left HPE in February after nine years, said under his leadership, the Infoblox channel “will start to work with partners that know us from DNS and IP management and educate them in our new capabilities, the new branding, what we do around security and how they can take advantage of it.”

Lisa Martin steps in as chief revenue officer at channel stalwart 8×8. Her job is to drive and maximize revenue growth, oversee all sales strategies and manage the company’s global sales organization.
Martin most recently was VP of Flex North America go-to-market at Twilio.
It’s another promotion for Lorena Little, who has steadily risen in the ranks at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise (HPE). Her new title, compute channel sales director, follows eight months as storage channel sales director.
With the company for more than seven-and-a-half years, she was with HP for five years before HPE split off in the middle of the last decade.
Jeff Schmidt is the new president and CEO at ECI, which offers public cloud and cybersecurity managed services to the financial services industry.
It’s not the first CEO rodeo for Schmidt, who comes to the MSP from Avertium, where he was a founder. He also has experience in executive roles from SWS, All Covered and British Telecom.
D&H Distributing turned to Anthony Graziano as its new SVP of marketing. He will put his 20 years of experience to use overseeing all aspects of the distributor’s marketing strategies.
Graziano most recently was head of channel marketing at Logitech, which is a D&H manufacturing partner.

Hunter Owens (left) just left Aryaka and joined Lumen Technologies in the role as director, channel sales. It’s a return to Lumen for Owens, who previously was a channel manager. There was also a stop at TBI in between.
As Owens arrives, Dave Young (right) calls it a career. Retiring after two years in the top channel spot at Lumen, Young started his career at AT&T in 1987, then worked with AT&T offshoots Lucent and Avaya. He joined Level 3 Communications in 2022, then CenturyLink when it bought Level 3, and then Lumen after CenturyLink’s name change a couple of years ago.
Subscription-based cloud marketplace AppDirect appointed Allison Johnson to the role of supervisor sales support. This is a promotion from partner support manager.
Johnson has been with AppDirect for two years.
Cloud-based technology provider Clio snatched up Hemant Kashyap as its very first chief product officer. He will lead product innovation and oversee the expansion of Clio offerings into new markets. In particularly, he will be key in the launch of new products to the company’s base of lawyer customers and the broader legal industry.
Kashyap is former VP of product at ServiceTitan.
Cybersecurity company Deep Instinct named to key two executives to its team.
First up is Jim Ortbals (right), vice president of Americas channels. He will focus on growing Deep Instinct’s channel program, supporting existing partners and forgiing new relationships. He most recently was head of Zscaler’s global service provider, MSSP and distribution routes to market.
Then there’s Ryan Vaupel (left), VP of operations. His last gig was VP of global operations at Zimperium.

Say hi to Alison Rusk, new head of marketing at Inky, the cloud-based security platform provider. It’s a promotion from director.
Her work background includes more than 17 years at Dell. She spent two years at Absolute Software before her last two at Inky.
A trio of personnel moves to tell you about at Sangoma, the UCaaS firm.

AireSpring named Mike Sullivan vice president of channel sales. He is based in Atlanta.
Sullivan was with Birch Communications for more than 12 years before Fusion Connect bought it. He now joins another cloud communications provider after a couple of years at Windstream.
Telarus, the technology solutions brokerage, just promoted Colby Gray (left) to supplier business manager from partner support manager.
In another promotion, Olivia Dreher jumps from manager of order processing to director. She’s been with Telarus for five-and-a-half years.
Datto alum Christine Gassman, who has held several security positions since leaving the backup and DR provider in 2020, just landed at Mailprotector. Her position is VP of Community.
Gassman’s other recent stops are Blackpoint Cyber, Armor Cloud Security, Cofense and Cyberfish.
Channel veteran Rod Hughes returns to Kodak Alaris, the UK-based tech company, where he previously worked, as Americas sales managing director.
Hughes has more than 20 years of sales and channel strategy experience at Xerox, Nuance, Kofax and more.
OptConnect, which provides cellular connectivity services, scooped up someone with a lot of experience in that area.
Laura Crisp, who makes the move from UScellular, takes the reins as VP of channel strategy and sales at the Utah-based company.
She was with UScellular for four years, and also spent seven years at Verizon.
Josh Dickinson is new to his role as chief revenue officer at PhySaaS (physical security as a service).
Dickinson is a six-year Hypercore Networks veteran who joined Nitel when the latter bought the former. His last role there was VP of strategic partners.
Brad Mirkovich is the new chief revenue officer at JumpCloud, the cloud directory platform that works with MSPs and cloud partners.
Mirkovich’s 25 years of experience includes CRO roles at Businessolver, Conga, Accolade and Glassdoor. His responsibilities at JumpCloud include defining multiple routes to market and expanding channels.
This fellow is Stuart Hodkinson, the new VP, EMEA, for PlainID, which bills itself as an authorization-as-a-service company. It has headquarters in London, Tel Aviv and New York. His responsibilities are building out the company’s sales team, and coordinating business development efforts with partner and marketing teams.
You might know him from his career stops at Courion, Sun Microsystems, Transmit Security, Arkose Labs or ForgeRock.
Tyler Prince’s new title at Snowflake, the data cloud company, is SVP of worldwide alliances and channels. He is responsible for leading Snowflake’s global channel and partner business to drive growth, collaboration and customer-centric innovation.
He brings 10 years of experience from Salesforce and another eight-and-a-half from Oracle.
Quorum Cyber, which calls its team “global cybersecurity specialists,” appointed Paul Vasquez as VP of alliances and partnerships. This comes on the heels of Quorum Cyber entering the North American market.
Vasquez has a history of helping tech companies develop partnerships with Microsoft, which will be integral to his new role. He most recently spent four years at Epiq. Before that, he called CloudBees home.
Well-known European channel leader Alex Tatham is back at distributor Westcoast after a short stint at networking reseller NSC Global.
Tatham was with Westcoast for 14 years before making the move last year. He didn’t reveal many details about making the quick return, only saying he was back at Westcoast as an executive director.

Coherent, the global SaaS company that transforms spreadsheets into enterprise-grade code, hired Scott Musson to lead its partner and channel motions globally.
His appointment comes on the heels of Coherent’s $75 million funding round last year.
Musson brings hyperscale expertise from Elastic, Cloudera, Red Hat and VMware.
Jay Zimmet brings more than 25 years of cybersecurity experience to Skybox Security in his new role as chief revenue officer.
His last position was CRO at EclecticIQ, a threat intelligence platform company. He joins Skybox not long after it secured a $50 million financing round.
Asimily, the IoT security provider with a specialty in medical devices, named two new channel leadership execs.
Peter Hancock (left) is VP, global channel sales and partnerships, while Diana Torok takes the role of director of North America channel sales and partnerships.
Hancock most recently was at Optiv; Torok at Kiteworks.
Coro has made quite the push in cybersecurity in recent months. Here they have a new hire in Jesse Harrison. His job is senior territory manager for Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Montana and northern Caifornia.
Harrison is a veteran of GoTo, LogMeIn and Crexendo Business Solutions.
Foursquare, the cloud-based location technology company, hired Wade Wegner as senior VP and global head of product. He brings more than 20 years of experience to the company from Twilio, Salesforce, Microsoft and more.
Wegner most recently was chief product officer at Rapid, an API marketplace for developers. Foursquare expects him to “usher in a new wave of momentum for the company’s location intelligence suite.
Security company SonicWall has appointed a new VP of EMEA sales. It’s Spencer Starkey.
It’s a promotion for Starkey, who has spent the last three years with the title of VP of channel sales in the region for SonicWall. The company, with 17,000 partners worldwide, describes itself as 100% channel.
David Osborne is the new executive vice president of channel sales and business development at vCom Solutions, the cloud-based software and managed services company.
He has a long history of tech employers, but the bulk of his career was spent at SAP.
There’s a new channel leader at SuccessKPI, the experience analytics platform for contact centers.
It’s David Feliu, who joins from SupportLogic, where he led the channel there. You might also recognize him from Observe AI, eSentire, Palo Alto Networks or other technology companies.
John Morgan is the new XDR general manager at Trellix, which formed last year from the combining of FireEye with McAfee Enterprise by the companies’ new private-equity-backed owner.
Morgan joins the cybersecurity provider from Confluera, where he was CEO. He also brings experience from F5 and MobileIron.
That there is Jim Bowers, the new director of cybersecurity channel development at the aptly named Business Cybersecurity Solutions.
Bowers spent 13 years at Savvis, a CenturyLink company, and also had stints at TBI, SHI, Secureworks and more.
End-user computing and software specialist Unicon named Mads Skalbo (left) chief revenue officer and Gregori Martinez OEM partner manager/sales South Europe.
Skalbo is a 30-year veteran of the IT industry, with a background at Citrix, Cisco and more. He will lead the customer and partner engagement team to drive Unicon’s partner ecosystem.
Martinez has worked in a variety of sectors, but most recently as EMEA OEM manager at rival Igel Technology.

Bentley has 26 years of cyber experience, and will oversee the service delivery team as Core to Cloud launches dark web monitoring, fully managed 24/7 detection and response, and crisis simulation.

HPE made headlines when its channel leader left and landed at Infoblox. But the tech giant also promoted from within.
Other moves include a new channel leader at Aruba, an HPE company; plus, AppDirect, Deep Instinct and SonicWall all had changes of note.
