Telarus, the technology solutions brokerage, named Jason Stein to a big security role.
Stein joins the Telarus team as VP of advanced solutions for cybersecurity. He will support partners as they design and sell cybersecurity services.
You might know him from a variety of stops in the channel, including Ntirety, Kaspersky, Effortless Office, Unitas Global and more.

Britt Norwood will oversee the integration of FireEye into the McAfee channel.
It’s a promotion for Norwood, whose previous title was VP of sales. He’s not SVP of sales and global channels and commercial. The move came after Kathleen Curry left a similar role for AWS.
Mandiant recently sold security provider FireEye to the private equity firm that owns McAfee.

You might know Marc Inderhees from his key role developing Cisco’s MSP community. Now he is senior director of MSP channel sales at Appgate.
The 16-year Cisco vet will work to build out the MSP channel for the zero-trust network access software provider.

Rob Spee is the new senior vice president of global channels at BeyondTrust. He will focus on expanding market share through the company’s global partners.
Spee, who has 25 years of experience in the channel, most recently was with OutSystems, where he was regional VP of Americas channels for the low-code platform provider.
You might also know him from his days at SAS, Carbonite or Arrow.

Many were surprised to learn that David Meredith was leaving his post as CEO at Everbridge, the critical event management provider that has made quite the push in the channel the last couple of years.
That left the company with a pair of interim CEOs: Vernon Irvin (left) and Patrick Brickley. Both men have been with the company for a long time. Irvin is also chief revenue officer, while Brickley is chief financial officer.

One week after learning that David Meredith (pictured) had left Everbridge, we saw him pop up as chief executive at Boomi, the integration platform-as-a-service provider. He replaced Chris McNabb, Boomi‘s CEO for nearly 10 years, in the top spot.

Security validation provider Cymulate turned to Wendy Hoey as its new VP of alliances for the Americas.
Hoey comes to Cymulate from Optiv, where she was senior director of partner alliances. She successfully implemented an integrator strategy for the company to grow the company’s business with partners.
She’s also an alum of Arrow Electronics.

IT giant Ensono (No. 3 on Channel Futures’ 2021 MSP 501 list) welcomed Jeff Wile as executive VP or Ensono Digital.
In this role, he will lead a group of Ensono cloud experts that includes public cloud alliances, cloud deployment engineers and cloud-native development teams.
Wile most recently was chief information officer at Starbucks.
Jeanine Sicinski is a new senior partner development manager at Intelisys. She spent nearly four years at RapidScale as a cloud solutions consultant, honored in 2018 as a “rising star” by the Cloud Girls organization during a ceremony at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo.
Tony Bailey (pictured) is one of three newly appointed senior vice presidents at InterVision, which dubs itself a “strategic service provider for the entire life cycle of technology needs.”
Bailey, an 11-year Verint veteran, will lead strategic alliances. Also in new roles are Brad Fruendlich, SVP of operations and customer experience; and Chris Rhame, SVP of services.
N-able, the MSP tool and resource provider, named Stefan Voss (pictured) VP of product management. It’s a newly created role at the company to help drive its data protection business.
Also new but not pictured is Chris Groot, formerly VP of sales and go-to-market, promoted to general manager.

Jeff McCullough takes the reins as VP of worldwide partner sales for SolarWinds, the IT management and RMM provider. He is tasked with leading the company’s global channel business, partner development and strategic partnerships.
A 20-year vet of IT channel sales, McCullough’s last gig was Park Place Technologies, where he led the launch of the company’s new channel program.

Sammy Kinlaw has a new partner-facing role at TD Synnex.
The distribution giant decided to appoint one leader for its partner communities: Varnex (SMBs), Advanced Solutions and Stellr, which covers MSPs.
Kinlaw, who previously was SVP, endpoint solutions, is now SVP of sales communities in North America. He expects the growth of the community groups to consider, especially when you consider they played a significant role in the decision for the two companies to merge.
Of course Kinlaw has a long history in the channel, well-known for his nearly 10 years at Lenovo.

Sandy Carter left one of the best-known tech companies in the world for one that isn’t — yet.
Unstoppable Domains hired Carter, who ran the public sector team at Amazon Web Services for nearly five years, as its new channel chief and SVP for business development.
The San Francisco-based company lets users create a blockchain-connected web address similar to a URL that gives the user absolute control over that domain.

Anand Eswaran jumped back over to the IT side of the channel by taking the chief executive job at Veeam, the data protection provider. The news came just days after RingCentral announced his resignation as their CEO.
Before RingCentral, Eswaran was a seasoned executive with the likes of Microsoft, SAP and HPE.

Data protection provider Zettaset turned to Christopher Pakstys as its new head of channel to drive indirect sales growth.
His background includes stints at Insight, CenturyLink Cloud, Symantec and Fortinet.
Zettanet, which calls itself a “partner-first” organization, helps customers encrypt all data, now matter how it is stored.
Jamie DeWitt is a new national alliance manager at Zoom. He will help technology solutions brokerages (TSB) implement and understand Zoom’s process, not to mention engage their base of agents.
DeWitt makes the move to Zoom from one of those TSBs, Telarus, where he managed the Southwest market for the past two years.
