Master agent MicroCorp has hired a cable veteran to support its 2,000-plus partners.
Michael Jordan is the new vice president of operations for the Georgia-based company. He will lead strategy for MicroCorp’s provisioning, pricing, IT and commissions teams.
“Adding Michael to our executive team represents the next stage of our operational focus which includes deeper efficiencies in supporting our partners in complex cloud sales, our highest sales growth segment,” MicroCorp CEO Karin Fields said.
Jordan’s background in the cable industry starts with Charter Communications, where he eventually served as senior director of engineering and operations. His other notable roles include working as director of technical operations for Comcast and Time Warner Cable.
Fields said that experience with cable operators will help MicroCorp improve the partner experience.{ad}
“Michael’s experience inside three of our largest providers, along with the enterprise-level management experience he received from them, brings us new perspective in how MicroCorp approaches operational hurdles and how we poise ourselves to handle the increasing complexity of deals,” Fields said.
Fields talked to us in August about MicroCorp and her prediction that the channel will see more M&A in the next year.
