Cyware has hired Google vet Boyar Naito as its new senior director of partnerships and business development.

In his new role, Naito will guide Cyware’s business growth and partnerships. He has successfully managed and launched innovative products, forged key partnerships and led high-performing teams throughout his career.

Prior to Cyware, Naito was with Google for more than 15 years, most recently as Google Cloud‘s principal of commercial business development. In that role, he negotiated and closed more than $2 billion in total contract value of cloud commercial agreements, launched and led a global team that improved efficiency of product approval escalations, and mentored junior and new team members.

“We are thrilled to welcome Boyar to our team,” said Anuj Goel, Cyware‘s CEO. “As we continue on Cyware’s rapid trajectory, he will be instrumental in further expanding our global footprint, and driving our mission to build strong partnerships and safeguard businesses from cybersecurity threats more effectively and efficiently. His proven track record in the tech space will unquestionably add momentum to our ambitious plans.”

Here’s our list of channel people on the move in September.

At Google, Naito held various leadership roles and was instrumental in spearheading numerous strategic partnerships. His decision to bring his skills and experience to Cyware underscores the company’s position.

“I’m excited to join Cyware, a company that’s making a measurable impact improving cybersecurity operations,” Naito said. “The threat landscape is evolving rapidly, and I’m grateful to join a purpose-driven team and eager to help build strong, collaborative partnerships.”

In June, Cyware announced it raised $30 million in a Series C financing round led by Ten Eleven Ventures, a multi-stage investment firm specializing in cybersecurity. Cyware provides artificial intelligence (AI)-powered Cyber Fusion platforms for enterprises and MSSPs. It also provides automated threat intelligence sharing for information sharing networks.
