Delinea has hired Tim Puccio as senior vice president of global channels and alliances, assuming leadership of Delinea’s global partner ecosystem. That includes VARs, GSIs, strategic alliances and technical partners. Puccio brings more than 25 years of channel and sales experience in the software industry.

Most recently, Puccio was senior vice president of global sales for Login VSI. There, he built the company’s global go-to-market (GTM) team.

He previously was channel chief, and vice president of global channels and alliances at Fuze. There, he successfully led the channel sales strategy, driving broader adoption of the Fuze platform across the globe. His past endeavors include leadership positions at Carbonite and HP Software.

Here’s our list of channel people on the move in September.

“Delinea provides a proven portfolio of incredibly high-value solutions for reducing risk and strengthening cybersecurity,” Puccio said. “The portfolio is a natural fit for all aspects of partner ecosystems. And I believe we have an opportunity to accelerate and build on the strong foundation that’s been established. The evolution of partner ecosystems over the last few decades has been core to me. And I believe the combination of Delinea’s technology combined with a solid ecosystem strategy will represent the next phase of growth for Delinea.”

Meeting with Delinea’s Partners

Puccio’s still early in his discovery of Delinea‘s existing partner program and is prioritizing meetings with partners.

“But so far I have observed pockets of excellence around the globe,” he said.

Delinea purpose-built its partner program to accelerate adoption and win new partners, Puccio said.

“We have an opportunity to extend the best practices to not only win, but to delight, expand and grow our joint customers,” he said.

In his new Delinea channel leadership role, Puccio’s three focus areas are:

  • Making it easy to work with Delinea in all aspects of the partner journey, improving the overall experience.

  • Enhancing Delinea’s global program with improved partner benefits for all aspects of the customer and partner journey.

  • Accelerating the deployment of Delinea’s partner portal, enablement and advanced solutions.

Proven PAM Solutions for Partners

“Delinea partners are focused on solving critical cybersecurity challenges for their customers, and are constantly looking to us for innovation and solid proven privileged access management (PAM) solutions that will mitigate risk,” Puccio said.

Puccio will ensure partners understand the business and technical benefits of Delinea’s PAM solutions.

“We will continue to innovate our technology and educate our partners on how to move a customer along the PAM maturity model and deliver value,” he said. “I believe this approach will create opportunities for our entire ecosystem.”

Rick Hanson is Delinea‘s president.

“Tim brings a wealth of direct experience and a successful track record to grow, enable and lead our global partner program,” he said. “Under Tim’s leadership, I know that we will surpass the expectations of both our partners and our customers.”
