Genband Promotes CMO, Former Broadsoft VP to Lead Sales, Marketing

Genband, the Real-time communications provider, has promoted Patrick Joggerst to lead its global sales and marketing efforts.

Genband's Patrick JoggerstThe Texas-based company promoted Joggerst, an experienced sales veteran, from his previous role as chief marketing officer. Genband CEO David Walsh said Joggerst has more than 30 years of experience with global brands and the telecommunications industry.

“I have worked closely with Patrick in the past and am confident that he is the right person to help us accelerate the business,” Walsh said.

Genband caters to the channel with a reseller program comprised of technology partners, enterprise resellers and carrier resellers. Some of those partners include Avaya, Ericsson and Arrow Systems Integration. One of its better-known products is Kandy, a platform-as-a-service (PaaS) offering.

Joggerst joined Genband last spring after working for three years as BroadSoft’s vice president of global sales.{ad}
