Juan Fernandez Joins HacWare as Interim Worldwide Channel Chief
Channel veteran Juan Fernandez joins HacWare to increase opportunities for the company's MSP partner ecosystem.
November 14, 2022
Channel executive Juan Fernandez has joined HacWare as its interim channel chief, reporting directly to chief executive officer Tiffany Ricks.
Fernandez joins HacWare with a strong track record of helping MSPs grow their ARR and working with channel programs. Formerly, he has been a vital part of MSP growth as the CEO of MSP Growth Coalition, and is the author of the MSP Owner’s Handbook. He also has served on boards for CompTIA and Channel Partners/Channel Futures.
‘A True Honor’
HacWare’s Juan Fernandez
“It’s a true honor to have joined forces with HacWare and the wonderful team that Tiffany has brought together,” Fernandez told Channel Futures. “She truly has created a wonderful family of spectacular people and I’m honored to now be a part of it. We are often looking for a place to fit in and find people that care about each other, their team, and their customers. HacWare is just that — a family that cares. I am blessed to be able to be a part of such a wonderful company. To be so closely aligned in vision, working toward partner and customer success is a natural fit.”
Unsurprisingly, one of Fernandez’s core values is meaningful relationships, which is such an integral part of the success of a business.

“It is an honor to jump into something that is focused on partner success,” said Fernandez. “I look forward to creating and sharing something new, innovative and profitable for our partners. HacWare is creating something special, and I am really looking forward to helping MSP’s channel move forward through cyber education.”
HacWare’s Tiffany Ricks
“Juan’s passion for building relationships and educating MSP partners is deeply aligned with my mission for HacWare” said Ricks. “Juan is an innovative thinker, disrupter, and inspiration for the modern MSP. Juan and I both have a shared vision for empowering managed service providers to increase security awareness sales and upskilling to combat phishing attacks. His veteran experience will also help supercharge our partner ecosystem, capacity, and solutions as we enter our next phase of growth.”
Enabling MSPs
HacWare’s partner ecosystem is vital to enabling MSPs to adopt and scale security awareness training programs, according to Ricks. As a result, this frees up teams to focus on their cybersecurity stacks and growing their own business relationships. Moreover, HacWare is streamlining the security awareness training process and revolutionizing phishing simulations without adding additional labor to MSP’s workloads.
As interim channel chief, Fernandez will use his extensive knowledge of the channel to help MSPs grow and scale. Accordingly, he will build upon this base with HacWare to share the automated security awareness training platform with MSPs looking to grow and scale their businesses.
“This is an exciting opportunity to bring a new and innovative company that is driven by passion and partner success to the world of cybersecurity,” said Fernandez. “Tiffany and the HacWare team have created something special. I know that MSPs are in great need of innovative solutions that help them solve customer problems. HacWare has done just that. It’s an honor to stand alongside this founder-led company that listens to their partners. This will help change the future of phishing and cybersecurity training.”
