RingCentral leadership is changing in end-of-the-year moves.
Vaibhav Agarwal, RingCentral’s chief accounting officer, is appointed interim chief financial officer effective Jan. 1, 2022. In addition, Anand Eswaran is stepping down from his role as president and COO at the company. However, RingCentral has not yet announced his replacement.

Vlad Shmunis is RingCentral’s founder, chairman and CEO.
“I would like to thank Anand for his contributions to RingCentral over the last two years,” he said. “We are happy for the next chapter in his career and wish him good luck on all fronts.”
New Leadership, Old Leadership
Prior to RingCentral, Eswaran spent five years at Microsoft, where he served as corporate vice president. In his new venture, he will be CEO for a late-stage private company, he said. The company has over a billion dollars in annual recurring revenue in a category not competitive with RingCentral.

“On that note, I am pleased to announce that Vaibhav Agarwal, our chief accounting officer and a five-year RingCentral veteran, is promoted to the role of interim chief financial officer. So, I look forward to closely working with Vaibhav in the next exciting chapter of RingCentral.”
Agarwal has held several roles at the company, including as corporate controller. Additionally, he served as assistant corporate controller for Intel.
