There is a common trend of former Windstream/Paetec employees finding new employment in the channel.
Intelisys' Cory Reutzel
Intelisys, the master agent and distributor, added Cory Reutzel, formerly with Peak 10 + ViaWest, as senior manager of strategic partner development in the Southwest.
A 15-year industry veteran, Reutzel will support sales partners and report to Eddie Acosta, director of partner sales for the Southwest region. We’re seeing more and more technology companies increase their investments in their indirect sales programs. For many, that means adding staff.
Some of the new appointments and promotions in our latest edition of Channel People on the Move are regional channel managers, and others serve in higher-ranking roles. All have either a direct impact or a trickle-down effect on channel operations. And in September, Channel Partners Evolution in Austin, Texas, was the impetus for some of the personnel announcements.
The master agents/distributors were very busy, with Intelisys, WTG and TBI among the companies making new hires and promotions. ViaSat, Effortless Office and TeleDomani all announced multiple hires. And as usual there is a common trend of former Windstream/Paetec employees finding new employment in the channel.
