The Technology Channel Association (TCA) has added four industry insiders to its board of directors.

They are:

  • Rob Butler, managing partner, Crossvergence

  • Khali Henderson, senior partner, Buzz Theory Strategies (and former Channel Partners editor-in-chief)

  • Jed Kenzy, partner, Innovative Business Solutions

  • Susan Penevolpe, vice president of sales, WTG

The new board members will help develop and plan association programs, and recruit new members.

“We are pleased to have these outstanding individuals join the board,” said Jeff Ponts, COO and executive vice president of Datatel Solutions and current TCA President. “All four individuals have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the telecommunications industry and we look forward to working with them to help the association grow.”

Leaving the board are Nick Enger, manager of business development, Advanced Technology Consulting (ATC); Braun Mincher, president, PCG Telecom Consulting Group; Michael Shonholz, manager, CDW Telecom Services; and Laura Bernstein, president, CRA Telecom.

Remaining members are Dave Wallace, president of Aligned Communications; Evan Gillman, principal, Transit Broker; Dave Halpin, director of carrier services, Black Box Network Services; and Nancy Ridge, vice president, Telecom Brokers.

The goal of the nonprofit TCA is to promote the indirect channel and improve relationships between agents and vendors. It addresses industry challenges, delivers value-added programs and services to meet the needs of agents and vendors alike, and to identify and develop industry-wide best practices to empower businesses.
