Tech Data Promotes Stacy Nethercoat

Distributor Tech Data Corp. has named Stacy Nethercoat as vice president of the TDCloud unit.

Nethercoat has worked for Tech Data for 19 years and helped lead the company’s cloud strategy in the United States, including through the formation of TDCloud in 2011. Her previous TDCloud responsibilities as vice president of product marketing included overseeing solutions delivery and finding new vendors to add to the line card.

Now, Nethercoat has been tapped to lead TDCloud’s direction, operations and go-to-market execution. She’ll continue to report to Brian Davis, senior vice president, U.S. marketing.

“Since the inception of TDCloud, Stacy’s leadership and vision have proven invaluable in the growth and development of our cloud business,” Davis said in a prepared statement. “Our new dedicated sales, reseller enablement, field marketing, and operations resources, as well as our new organizational structure, solidifies our commitment to growth in cloud computing and better aligns us with this important part of our company’s strategy.”
