Distribution giant Tech Data has unveiled the TechSelect Loyalty Program, which gives added benefits to its partners in recognition of their commitment to the company and to the TechSelect channel program.
The loyalty program is point-based and members get a status of platinum, gold or silver. Based on their loyalty status, they are awarded credits toward TDEducation training and travel credits to TechSelects events, including partner conferences and the company’s TechSelect University.
Members get points based on year-over-year growth selling Tech Data products; percentage of revenue with sponsoring TechSelect vendor partners; number of TechSelect events attended; and market share with Tech Data.
If you’re a TechSelect member who has achieved loyalty status, you’ll soon receive notification. Currently, out of the community’s more than 400 U.S. members, 10 have reached platinum status, while 20 are gold and 40 are silver.
“Our new TechSelect Loyalty program is aligned with TechSelect’s goal of creating a level playing field for our members, regardless of the size of their business,” said Kaye McMillan, director, sales planning and TechSelect at Tech Data. “We are proud to reward our members with educational and training opportunities based on their commitment to the TechSelect community.
The announcement was made at last week’s TechSelect event in New Orleans. Also at the conference, the TechSelect community appointed Audrey Levi, partner at ITPointe, as president of its advisory council. She is the first female president of a Tech Data community program.
