Telarus Taps Hoyle to Direct Account Management
The account management program is in its fourth year.
Telarus has a new director of account management.
The master agent on Tuesday announced that it promoted Kelly Hoyle from the role of senior account manager to the new position. The job puts Hoyle in charge of helping Telarus partners to “retain and upsell to their existing customer base.”

Telarus’ account management service has existed since 2014. Hoyle’s team does numerous “unpopular” tasks on behalf of a partner, including fixing bills and modifying contracts. Telarus has more than 4,000 sales partners.
Bryce Hayes, senior vice president of operations for Telarus, credited Kelly for having a resume of management experience in retail before joining the master agent in 2016.
“We are excited to promote Kelly to this director-level position and congratulate him for all of his hard work,” Hayes said. “Since he joined our account management team three years ago, Kelly has led by example, always staying laser-focused on doing everything a customer could ever ask for: quick response times, accurate quotes and paperwork, and effective escalations when things invariably go wrong. Since he and his group are acting in the name of our sales partners, it’s important that they perform and reflect well.”
Hoyle said in the company’s Tuesday announcement that the account management program is important for partners that lack the budget for a retention team or who want to retire.
“I’ve had the privilege of working in the Telarus account management team for a few years in different capacities, and I am proud and excited to lead our highly-talented team,” Hoyle said. “Account management has been one of our unique value propositions for years, and now things are starting to get exciting as we talk to end users about next-generation solutions like cybersecurity, cloud computing, contact center and mobility/IoT. Our main goal is to retain existing business and find new products that customers either don’t know about or have overlooked.”
Telarus hired a director for its contact center practice last month. The company completed also completed the re-brand that followed its acquisition of CarrierSales.
