Sage (SGE) and Salesforce.com (CRM) in May forged a strategic partnership to deliver a new solution called Sage Life on the Salesforce1 platform. The companies said that the new offering would enable small companies to connect their customer, accounting, payroll and finance data into one system, accessible from any device, anywhere.
IT marketing and business development firm Ulistic in March announced that it was among the companies integrating with PSA providers Autotask and ConnectWise. The integrations provide a seamless flow of leads from MSP websites that rely on Ulistic's services directly into these PSA platforms, according to Ulistic.
In February, Passportal integrated with PSA platform provider ConnectWise to help channel partners streamline the customer onboarding process. The Canadian password management software company said the integration allows MSPs, independent software vendors (ISVs), IT service providers and value-added resellers (VARs) to simplify and speed up the onboarding process for customers.
Zetta.net in April updated its ConnectWise integration. The integration is designed "to simplify and make the backup billing and ticketing process more efficient and effective for MSPs that are using ConnectWise," according to a Zetta.net spokesperson.
Vorex is now offering access to its applications from the Samsung KNOX Marketplace. In April, the Dallas-based project management and PSA company began providing two versions of its platform via the Samsung KNOX Marketplace, which offers more than 40 cloud apps to organizations worldwide.
Kaspersky Lab last month integrated the Autotask Endpoint Management solution into its anti-malware technologies to help MSPs protect their customers' endpoint solutions. The solution enables MSPs to deliver a more unified approach for security management, Kaspersky said.
In April, N-able launched N-central 10. The new release included better workflow and improved integration with PSA platforms Autotask and ConnectWise.
Tigerpaw Software's highly anticipated "Matrix" business intelligence (BI) reporting tool is now available to MSPs.The PSA platform provider in June launched version 15R1 of its flagship offering, which includes the Matrix reporting tool, centralized billing and other new features.
ConnectWise in March unveiled ConnectWise 2015.3, a new version of its PSA platform that features a "brain-friendly" user interface (UI). April Taylor, ConnectWise's senior product manager, said that ConnectWise 2015.3 simplifies navigation for MSP partners.
Autotask in July announced plans to acquire Soonr, a San Jose, California-based provider of file synchronization sharing services. "Autotask delivers innovative offerings that manage mission-critical business processes for our customers. [The Soonr] acquisition fits perfectly within that objective and represents a significant managed services' revenue opportunity for all MSPs," Autotask CEO Mark Cattini said.
