IT systems management software provider Kaseya has added a new member to its board of directors – Tom Schodorf, senior VP of worldwide field operations for Splunk Inc. (SPLK).
The news comes less than a year after Insight Venture Partners acquired controlling interest of Kaseya. Insight brought in new leadership after the investment, adding Yogesh Gupta as CEO. Since then the executive suite has seen some turnover.
Kaseya’s newest board member, Schodorf, brings over 30 years of experience in leadership roles to the Kaseya position. Currently his day job is overseeing global sales and field operations for Splunk, a software platform that uses machine data to gain real-time operational intelligence. Prior to Splunk, Schodorf spent much of his career at BMC Software in sales leadership roles.
“Tom’s deep knowledge of how to grow enterprise software businesses on a global scale is second to none,” said Gupta, in a prepared statement. “We look forward to benefitting from his vast experience, and unique perspective which is directly relevant to Kaseya’s strategic goals.”
Kaseya says it will update customers on the company’s strategy and direction at the Kaseya’s annual user conference, Kaseya Connect, April 14-16, in Las Vegas.
