Remote monitoring and management (RMM) has gone through quite the transformation in the past year. As Kaseya CEO Fred Voccola puts it, the world has become a complex mix of mission-critical applications and data, and an exploding diversity of devices and services. Therefore, MSPs and internal IT teams have been forced to adopt multiple products, increase staff, and create their own solutions.

This has resulted in a plethora of issues — higher costs, lower efficiency, and just an overall mishandling of resources and budgets. Not what you want in normal times, but certainly not during a pandemic.

As a solution to these issues, Kaseya just announced Unified Remote Monitoring and Management, the cornerstone of Kaseya VSA. It aims to usher in the next generation of RMM technology.

Tackling Connected Devices

The idea is that through a unified framework, Kaseya delivers a modern RMM solution that holistically tackles the ever-growing ecosystem of connected devices. It also gives MSPs the ability to take charge of their IT infrastructures through one platform.

Kaseya’s Mike Puglia

“MSPs are bombarded with a growing number of devices that need to be managed and secured,” said Mike Puglia, chief strategy officer at Kaseya. “This places a significant strain on already stretched teams forced to switch between numerous products to perform daily tasks. Without a unified solution for RMM, MSPs will struggle to maintain profitability as the IT ecosystem becomes more complex.”

Kaseya’s Unified RMM technology brings all device management into a single product. This will enable MSPs to manage the entire IT infrastructure from one scalable solution.

“With integrated security and documentation functions as well as efficiency-boosting automation, Kaseya’s VSA solution increases technician efficiency and empowers MSPs to deliver essential services for users reliably and profitably,” says Puglia.

Upping the RMM Game

Kaseya VSA upped the RMM game in 2018 with the launch of RMM 2.0. This was the industry’s first RMM solution to natively unify both endpoints and network management, and embed IT documentation. It also exponentially extended IT automation capabilities through crowdsourced automation. With this solution, Kaseya VSA aims to once again push the industry forward by unifying all connected devices. This will deliver enhanced automation across complex systems and empower teams to provide both reliable and profitable IT services.
