Webroot, a cloud security software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider, has unveiled new enterprise-class threat intelligence services.
The new BrightCloud Security Services for Enterprise are designed to provide threat intelligence through integration with popular network security and management platforms, according to the company.
BrightCloud Security Services collect and analyze threat intelligence across multiple vectors from a network of nearly 35 million users protected by Webroot’s endpoint security solutions and the company’s technology partners, including:
Aruba Networks
Cisco Systems
F5
Microsoft
RSA
Webroot said it correlates this data through its Intelligence Network to deliver real-time threat intelligence.
“Businesses are struggling to identify and stop new web threats because the rate of change is faster than many current security technologies can keep up with. Either they are too slow to recognize new threats, or they are simply overwhelmed by the amount of data generated,” Mike Malloy, Webroot’s executive vice president of products and strategy, said in a prepared statement.
