Adaptiv Networks Takes SD-WAN as a Service to Europe
Adaptiv recently made an acquisition.
Adaptiv Networks, the provider of SD-WAN as a service, is taking its talents across the pond. The Canadian company just announced points-of-presence in the United Kingdom and Western Europe.

“Adding the new European points-of-presence to our network is one more step in our expansion throughout Europe and other regions,” Adaptiv CEO Bernard Breton said.
U.K.-based IT infrastructure provider Intergence Systems will be team up with the vendor to sell its services. Intergence CEO Peter Job praised Adaptiv’s solution.
“Our customers are looking to Intergence to provide high quality, high performing, resilient internet links to their cloud and on-premise applications; the Adaptiv SD-WAN solution makes this possible at a very affordable monthly opex fee,” Job said. “In fact, Intergence has been using the technology in-house enabling crystal clear voice and video quality on our internal and external calls, which has allowed us to continue servicing our customers’ IT Infrastructure as normal during lockdown.”
SD-WAN Veteran Takes the Lead
Adaptiv’s Adrien Tate
Adrien Tate will lead Adaptiv’s European expansion. He will serve as vice president of EMEA, working out of England. Tate joined Adaptiv in February after working at managed service provider connX. He has also worked for the SD-WAN providers InfoVista and Talari Networks. In addition, Tate worked three years at Riverbed and 14 at Quest Software. He has spent his career developing channel programs, according to Adaptiv.

“Adrian Tate’s appointment will accelerate and strengthen our engagement with channel partners, including those recently added through our acquisition of Elfiq Networks,” Breton said.
Adaptiv recently bought SD-WAN subsidiary Elfiq from Martello Technologies. Executives said that Elfiq’s product would enhance Adpativ’s SD-WAN-as-a-service portfolio.
Wireless backup provider Cradlepoint this spring announced plans to take on the European market. Also, backup provider Druva extended its channel program into three European countries.
