CNSG Joins Elite Comcast Business Partner Program

Converged Network Services Group has been named one of the few master agent partners for Comcast Business, the companies announced this week.

CNSG, a North Carolina-based distributor of network, cloud and data center services, now may sell the cable operator’s Ethernet, Internet, voice, cloud and TV services.

“This Master Agent status strengthens CNSG’s cable program even further by providing its partners with enhanced support, greater resources and increased commissions,” said Matt Harty, president and CEO of CNSG.

As a result of the partnership, CNSG is ramping up its internal support capabilities, including employing a cable channel manager and a dedicated cable desk manager who focuses just on accelerating the quote-to-commission process for partners, Harty added.

“We have earned this elite status through our commitment to our cable practice,” Harty said.

Mark J. McLaughlin, senior director of the partner sales northeast division for Comcast Business, agreed.

“CNSG has demonstrated an exemplary commitment to working with Comcast Business to help organizations of all sizes meet their business objectives,” he said.

Comcast Business’ other elite partners so far include IT distributor SYNNEX.
