ISP Cogent has added Converged Network Services Group (CNSG) as a master agent.

Cogent’s newly revamped channel-partner program will feature enhanced support along with greater technical resources. The new agreement increases commissions for all Cogent products and services.

“We’re very excited for this amazing opportunity to be a part of Cogent’s channel program and offer our partners and their customers Cogent’s high speed Internet access, Ethernet transport, and colocation services … all with competitive pricing and attractive commissions from one of the top five Internet backbone networks in the world,” said Matt Harty, CNSG’s president and CEO.

"Cogent has selected only a handful of master agents to launch our indirect channel and we are thrilled to have CNSG as a partner,” added Mike Kopp, Cogent’s director of Partner Channel. “Our goal is to build a solid foundation for the channel that includes competitive compensation, simple and easy terms and conditions, as well as rules of engagement and procedures that make sense.  We are confident that CNSG will help us reach our goals."
