NetCarrier, a Philadelphia-based hosted PBX provider and CLEC, has launched a managed Internet failover service as businesses nationwide face natural disasters such as the recent Polar Vortex.

The service, called nCloud Survive, includes WAN redundancy and advanced firewall features, bringing business continuity to customers in all kinds of weather elements, NetCarrier said. NetCarrier further handles the around-the-clock monitoring of up to three WAN connections, and send phone and email notifications when there’s an outage. There’s also the option for trouble-ticket reporting.

nCloud Survive is a subscription service, so customers pay from their opex budgets. The product is available now to businesses of all sizes in the United States.
