Pacnet this week joined the growing list of channel-centric service providers supporting the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Direct Connect platform.
AWS Direct Connect lets enterprises establish dedicated network connections via 802.1q VLANs; the connection runs between the end user’s network and the AWS Direct Connect location.
Customers hosted at Pacnet’s Tier III data center facilities in Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo, as well as through any network PoP across Asia-Pacific using Global Ethernet International Private Leased Line and MPLS-based Global IP VPN service, are able to access AWS. Scalable bandwidth options range from 50Mbps to 10Gbps.
