Pacnet, a provider that specializes in the Asia-Pacific region, has teamed with Intelisys.

It’s the second master agency with which Pacnet has partnered so far this year in February, Pacnet announced a similar deal with WTG and highlights the carrier’s indirect channel momentum within the United States.

Now, Intelisys agents may sell Pacnet’s data center, MPLS, Ethernet private line, IP transit and other services to customers who need coverage in countries including Australia, China and India.

Demand for international services continues to grow and this agreement demonstrates our commitment to support our partners with customer opportunities in Asia,” Jay Bradley, president of Intelisys, said in a press release.

Cardi Prinzi, president of enterprise markets for Pacnet, agreed.

“The Asia-Pacific region has seen explosive growth over the past several years, and more and more U.S.-based companies are either looking to expand their current operations in the region or create new operations particularly in China and India,” he said.

Pacnet has spent the past year been beefing up its channel growth in the United States. Prinzi has been at the helm of that expansion, helped by longtime channel players Brian Quinn and Jason Kitzmiller.
