CHANNEL PARTNERS tw telecom (Booth 6036 and an Elite Sponsor) has promoted John Hogan, Greg Bean and Gavin Barron to the roles of directors of channel sales.

As interest in our indirect channel has grown, we have built a team thats focused on our partners,” said Dale Kammerich, president of indirect sales for tw telecom. With our partners experiencing rapid change and increased customer demands, Gavin, Greg and John will bring the knowledge and experience to serve our growing community of partners.”

Barron will oversee tw telecom’s Central region. He moves up from the position of senior channel sales manager. Prior to joining tw telecom in 2010, Barron served as a data network consultant and technical sales engineer with AT&T. Before that, he was a nuclear engineer in the United States Navy.

Next, Bean is responsible for tw telecoms Northeast and Midwest regions. He started at tw telecom in 1999 as a result of the Xspedius acquisition. Since then he was worked in various capacities, including account executive, indirect channel sales manager and indirect channel sales senior manager. Prior to joining tw telecom, he served as market representative for Norstan where he sold Siemens PBXs, Siemens Phone Mail systems, Iwatsu Key systems, and AVT Voice Mail Systems.

Finally, Hogan takes on tw telecoms West region, overseeing seven channel manager. Prior to joining tw telecom in December 2013, Hogan worked as director of channel sales for Comcast. During the previous 10 years, Hogan served as indirect channel director for Qwest Communications. Prior to his 17 years in telecom, Hogan was an attorney focused on employment law and workers compensation.
