C3 Hires Former PaeTec/Windstream Exec as Sales Engineering Director

He was tasked with overseeing all design and initial implementation of services for the company.

Cloud Computing Concepts (C3), the provider of technology and communications services, has named industry veteran Matthew Pinto, formerly with Windstream, as its director of sales engineering, charged with overseeing all design and initial implementation services for the company.

Pinto has more than 17 years of experience in complex network design and engineering. In his most recent position with Windstream as manager of network design specialists, he was responsible for the management of 20 sales engineers supporting the company’s channel partners.

He launched his professional career with US LEC. and continued to grow with that organization through its acquisition by PaeTec, and then later with Windstream.

“I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity to join C3,” Pinto said.  “With a broad portfolio of products and services, a wealth of engineering talent, and a firm commitment to its partners, C3 is extremely well positioned for the future.”

Pinto’s responsibilities also will include representing the company at various industry events and contributing to the continued development of C3’s partner program.
