Cybersecurity company Cavirin Systems has launched a new partner program designed to speed up its global growth.

The Cavirin Connect Partner Program allows resellers, integrators and MSSPs to deliver “cutting-edge cloud security” to their customers, the company said. Cavirin removes security compliance as a barrier to cloud adoption by automating with a set of customizable frameworks, benchmarks and guidelines.

The company’s offering secures both the public cloud control plane and hybrid-cloud workloads (servers) on premises, within the public cloud and within containers.

Cavirin Security’s Tom Hance

Tom Hance, Cavirin’s vice president of worldwide field operations, tells Channel Partners that his company’s new CyberPosture Intelligence product, introduced at the end of 2017, is well-suited for the channel due to its “wizard-based operation and ease of integration.”

“The channel within security is very competitive, so potential partners are looking to up-level their offerings, adding additional value,” he said. “Our product is well-suited to meet this need. In cloud security and continuous compliance in general, existing products are sometimes complex to deploy and don’t meet the broader horizontal needs of many organizations the partners are targeting. Our CyberPosture Intelligence offering also solves these issues. On the program front, we’ve deployed a management portal via Allbound that will help with training, deal registration and tracking, avoiding channel conflict, as well as channel marketing.”

Partners have access to Cavirin’s RESTful API, allowing them to integrate the company’s solution within their existing managed service offerings.

Inaugural program members include Astadia in the United Kingdom; Bodega Technologies, InterVision and Lite Distribution in Australia; Logicworks and Scalar in Canada; Titans Security in Israel; Veristor, and others.

“We’ve worked with Titans and Scalar, and yes, we’ve worked with some of the new partners to develop the program tiers and benefits,” Hance said. “Over time, we expect the majority of our business to be via the channel, either lower-touch for commercial account, or high-touch for larger enterprises. This also includes MSSPs that offer our capabilities as part of a managed security service.”

Partners will help Cavirin “quickly build a beachhead internationally where we don’t have on-the-ground sales teams,” he said.

“For companies in highly regulated industries, complex compliance requirements can slow down widespread public cloud adoption,” said Sachin Bansal, Logicworks‘ head of strategic alliances and channels. “Logicworks and Cavirin have independently helped hundreds of companies overcome compliance roadblocks — and so together, we can offer comprehensive software and services to prepare customers for compliance on the cloud. Logicworks’ team of compliance experts and Cavirin’s tooling bring clarity and transparency to compliance, helping customers derive business value faster from the cloud.”
