Peter Alexander, Check Point’s chief marketing officer, welcomed attendees to CPX360. He said his company now is in a position to “take the fight to the competition.”
“Overall, the Check Point brand stands for some very important things and we need to convey that to customers and in a clear way,” he said. “The more they understand, the more they realize they should choose us. There are facts that show we have the best security. We’re about a consolidated solution. We can get into cloud and into mobile, consolidate and spread from there.”
Gil Shweb, Check Point’s founder and CEO, told attendees prevention, not detection, is the only way to stop cybercriminals from getting in and doing any damage. Even if you detect something 10 minutes after it shows up, “it’s too late.”
Frank Rauch, Check Point’s new head of worldwide channel sales, told partners his company has “leadership products” and “quality, smart people top to bottom who are willing to listen, collaborate and tell you what’s on their mind so we get it right and listen to you.”

“This is exactly something that a partner can do,” said Aviv Abramovich, Check Point’s head of security services product management. “Another opportunity we are developing is a service provider here in North America, again, is going to take two different products … and combine it and offer it as a solution for their customers.”
