ADC (Booth 1234) announces the launch of the OmniReach Multiple Dwelling Unit (MDU) product line, an extension to the OmniReach portfolio of FTTX infrastructure solutions.

The new line provides high-performance interconnection of fiber cables and equipment in the more densely populated MDU environments, such as apartments, townhomes and campuses. These pre-terminated solutions allow for distribution nodes to be added to the network quickly and with increased reliability, reducing overall installation and long-term maintenance costs.

Included in the ADC OmniReach MDU product line are fiber distribution cabinets, distribution terminals and drop cables designed to support indoor and outdoor applications.

ADCs OmniReach fiber distribution cabinets available in pole- or pad-mount arrangements for outdoor applications and rack- or wall-mount arrangements for indoor applications are placed strategically in the FTTP network or inside an access point in larger MDU structures to facilitate service connection to the MDU.

For small to medium MDU structures, the OmniReach family of outdoor, environmentally protective distribution terminals are used to provide subscriber connection via hardened or non-hardened interface from distribution cable to drop cable connecting to the optical network terminal.

ADCs rugged and reliable outdoor drop cables provide quality connection to the MDU.

The indoor distribution terminals are a family of compact fiber demarcation enclosures that provide a flexible, space-efficient, craft-friendly and economical interface for connecting fiber cables in MDU applications.
