Wholesale carrier ANPI, which sells through the indirect channel, on Tuesday debuted its hosted unified communications (UC) platform.

ANPI spent much of the last year building ANPI VIP, said CMO David Byrd. The hosted IP PBX features mobile access, Web and video conferencing, voice recording, fax, and traditional presence and desktop sharing. ANPI uses phones from Polycom and Cisco. Further, users will be able to access Moves/Adds/Changes through a customizable tool, said Byrd.

“It’s a very engaging type of customer administration portal,” he said.

For now, ANPI is keeping its focus on SMBs.

“There are some other things we need to do before we engage enterprise customers,” such as beefing up network sophistication and supporting multiple locations, Byrd said.

Byrd did not want to divulge margin ranges for ANPI VIP; he did say ANPI will announce additional key channel news at the upcoming Cloud Partners show in Chicago.

Channel partners may start selling ANPI VIP on Sept. 16.
