Previously Aspect’s senior vice president of cloud, Herzog will head up all channel-partner initiatives. He tells Channel Partners that since Aspect Via launched in January 2017, it has seen been “incredibly well received by both our customers and the industry.”

“Because Aspect Via includes both contact center and workforce optimization, in a cloud solution, a dedicated program was needed to attract and partner with providers having these competencies,” he said. “The Aspect Via Reseller Program is geared towards channel partners with a proven track record in (the) cloud and contact center space with achievement in implementing a successful/viable cloud resale business model.”

Through the program, partners will be certified to resell and support Aspect Via, and Aspect will provide the “highest level of support, training, and sales,” the company said.

“Aspect Via resellers are able to create new opportunities with professional-services offerings for discovery/optimization/implementation, integration of custom and third-party applications, and customization of the user experience for their end customers,” Herzog said.

Waterfield Technologies has been an Aspect partner for more than 10 years.

“Strategic partnerships with companies like Aspect Software are critical to the success of our business and to our customer’s businesses,” said John Marino, Waterfield’s CEO. “This partnership has enabled us to offer our customers an award-winning customer engagement solution that not only benefits them but also their customers. As a leading enterprise software and professional services firm for mobile solutions, we feel adding Aspect Via to our portfolio will give us a competitive edge.”

The program will be offered in two different service levels, Tier 1 and Tier 1 Plus, and will be available in North America, Europe and Australia with plans for future expansion later this year.
