AT&T Alliance Channel Gets New Leader as Leonard Retires
Leonard has worked at the carrier for more than four decades.
A popular AT&T Partner Solutions executive is closing the curtain on his career.
Kevin Leonard, who led the AT&T Alliance Channel for more than a decade, will step down from his role at the end of the month. Stacey Marx, senior vice president of AT&T Partner Solutions, announced the change Wednesday on LinkedIn.
AT&T’s Kevin Leonard
“It’s always bittersweet when one of your long-time colleagues moves on to retirement. During his over 37 years with AT&T, Kevin Leonard made a huge impact and was recognized for his contributions to the channel with awards including … Channel Partners Channel Executive of the Year,” Marx wrote. “Kevin has been instrumental to the growth of AT&T’s indirect program – his deep professional expertise, guidance and leadership will be missed.”

Leonard already had 27 years under his belt at AT&T when the company tapped him as vice president of alternate channels in 2008. He made frequent speaking appearances at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo and other industry events.
AT&T’s Will Harvey
Marx announced that Will Harvey will succeed Leonard as vice president of AT&T Alliance Channel. Harvey was serving as vice president of network integration for AT&T services as of last year. He led the successful network integration team, which included more than 800 employees and $2 billion in revenue responsibility.
He previously was services director for AT&T Solutions. He has worked for the carrier for more than 30 years.

“Will brings a longstanding and successful track record of innovative sales and business growth through partner ecosystems,” Marx said. “Will is located in Bedminster, New Jersey, and is excited to begin building relationships with our AT&T Alliance and ACC Business partner community.”
AT&T declined to make further statements about Leonard or Harvey.
Leonard in January honored 58 of the Alliance Channel’s top partners.
“It’s exciting to see the success these businesses achieve while leveraging our solutions,” Leonard said at the time. “As we turn the corner into 2020, I couldn’t be more excited about what is to come for the AT&T Alliance Channel.”
