AT&T Inc., Cingular Wireless and Yahoo! Inc. yesterday unveiled AT&T Yahoo! Go Mobile, an integrated service that lets consumers access their AT&T Yahoo! Internet customized online content and services from their wireless phones.

AT&T Yahoo! Go Mobile is available on the Nokia 6682 handset from Cingular within AT&Ts 13-state footprint. The service also will be available in certain Cingular stores in the Austin, Columbus, Ohio, and Los Angeles markets.

Some of the features include:

Automatic notifications on the mobile phone when the user receives a new AT&T Yahoo! mail message. Messages are downloaded automatically and in the background.

A camera that allows for automatic picture uploading to Yahoo! photos.

Access to any entry in a users address book or calendar, whether from the computer or mobile phone.

A full-featured version of Yahoo! Messenger that allows users to send and receive messages, including voice clips, emoticons and Audibles.

“We’re blurring the lines between the PC and the wireless phone so that consumers can stay in touch, check e-mail, get updates on news and weather minute to minute, day by day regardless of where they are or what screen they are watching, said Scott Helbing, chief marketing officer of AT&T Consumer.

AT&T is selling the Nokia 6682 through its sales channels for $199.99 after a $50 Nokia mail-in rebate with a new two-year Cingular service plan. The AT&T Yahoo! Go Mobile application is pre-loaded on the handsets at no additional cost. Cingular’s standard wireless data usage charges apply, and Cingular Wireless voice service and data plans are sold separately.
