BCM One Beefs Up SIP Trunking Platform with nexVortex Acquisition
This marks the third acquisition for BCM One.
BCM One has acquired nexVortex, a Virginia-based provider of managed network SIP trunking services.
This marks the third acquisition for BCM One. The company is expanding and strengthening its SIP trunking platform and overall solutions portfolio with the acquisition.
Financial details of the deal weren’t disclosed.
BCM One’s Geoff Bloss
Geoff Bloss is BCM One’s CEO. He said the acquisition allows partners to offer a “solid SIP solution” to companies of all sizes, from SMB up to the enterprise level.
“Specifically, this acquisition will enable them to sell nexVortex’s leading managed SIP (mSIP) product,” he said. “This solution offers reliable PRI migrations to SIP trunking without sacrificing voice quality and while gaining analytics and visibility of how voice services are performing.”
This acquisition expands BCM One’s geographic reach to include nexVortex offices in Herndon, Virginia, and Grand Rapids, Michigan.
BCM One had an existing industry relationship with nexVortex’s management team.

“As BCM One looked to continue investments into next-generation technologies, it became apparent that nexVortex would complement our previous acquisitions and allow us to have solutions that addressed a wider range of the SMB and enterprise markets,” Bloss said. “Specifically, the nexVortex SIP solution brought the ability to deliver a managed SIP solution for the enterprise. The culture at nexVortex was very similar to the culture at BCM One, which is key to a successful integration. So with that in mind we began discussions with the management team at nexVortex about how we could work to merge our companies together.”
The acquisition is a “big win” for nexVortex partners, he said. They can expect some additional immediate benefits, he said.
“This includes more company resources for partner sales support, a larger marketing team and an even deeper SIP trunking portfolio benefiting both small and large customer engagements,” Bloss said. “Furthermore, nexVortex partners can now offer a true UCaaS service to their customers via BCM One’s dedicated UCaaS practice and evolving UCaaS solution.”
For now, the BCM One and nexVortex channel partner programs will remain separate.
“We’re excited to bring our 6,000 customers into the BCM One family,” said Wes Rogers, netVortex’s founder and COO. “There’s great alignment across the solution set, and our drive to deliver ‘uncommon service’ is right in line with BCM One’s mission to ‘provide a world-class experience with every human interaction.’”
