BroadSoft Hires New Global Sales VP

Patrick Joggerst will oversee sales efforts, including those of resellers and systems integrators targeting enterprises.

BroadSoft Inc. has hired a new vice president of global sales.

Patrick Joggerst is joining the VoIP software maker from Aricent Group. Joggerst will oversee all of BroadSoft’s sales efforts, including those of the company’s resellers and systems integrators selling to enterprises.

Joggerst comes to BroadSoft from Aricent Group, where he served as executive vice president and general manager of carrier services and solutions. He also has worked for Auster Capital Partners, NextPoint Network, Telcordia, PrimeCo, Global Crossing and AT&T.

BroadSoft also said Greg Callanan, vice president of North America sales, has left the company. The North America sales leaders will report directly to Joggerst.
