ReliOn (Booth 1023), provider of fuel cell solutions for backup power applications, and Canada-based CEA Telecom, a power-solutions provider for the telecommunications industry, announce they have signed an agreement for the distribution of ReliOns fuel cell products in Canada.

The deal calls for CEA Telecom to offer ReliOn fuel cells to its wireline and wireless telecommunication customers throughout Canada. CEA Telecom, established in 1985, is a distributor, installer, integrator and service provider of telecommunications power systems. The terms of the agreement with ReliOn provide exclusive distribution rights to CEA Telecom for the Canadian telecommunication markets and distribution rights for all other fuel cell applications within Canada.

We are very pleased to be working with CEA, says Gary Flood, ReliOn CEO. We believe that, based on CEAs experience and expertise in the wireline and wireless telecommunications industry, it is the best choice to distribute and support ReliOns fuel cell products within Canada.

We have been impressed with ReliOns products and ability to serve the needs of our primary customers, says Paul Musso, CEA Telecom general manager. Our telecom customers are looking for reliable backup power solutions that offer better value than traditional energy storage solutions for their critical communication applications, and we are excited to introduce ReliOns fuel cells to Canada.

ReliOn is delivering its I-1000 fuel cells for commercial and industrial backup power applications in the United States, Europe and the Caribbean. Its Modular Cartridge Technology provides customers with high-reliability backup power solutions with operational performance.
