For the first time ever, a ticket to Channel Partners is good for three tracks of sessions, with special appearances by high-margin services, VoIP and a range of sales experts. Track One, Sales Strategies, is an eight-part series that follows the sales cycle from start to finish. The topics start with understanding todays purchasing environment, and finish with customer care and extracting new business from existing customers — and cover everything in between. Industry vets and newbies alike can learn something from our collection of seasoned speaker-salespeople.

Track Two will help give your portfolio a lift by examining hot services, and how and where to sell them. Topics include bundling wireless data, VoIP over Wi-Fi, how to determine which WAN technology is right for a client and network security sales.

Track Three, a mini conference on VoIP, takes Channel Partners recent focus on IP telephony to the next level. The sessions will give a granular view of where the real opportunities are and will help attendees understand exactly how the technology fits within client environments. Confused about the difference between IP PBXs and LAN telephony? Or wondering how to explain service quality to your customer? This track is for you.

Theres something new for the general sessions, too. The VoIP Sales Extravaganza will tackle thorny questions of how to be successful with VoIP as a channel partner. This invaluable, real-deal information on selling the stuff cannot be found anywhere else. A second general session will focus on convergent customer premise equipment. Combining CPE and network services is necessary these days as client environments become more complex. Dont leave that money on the table well show you how to capitalize on LAN and WAN CPE. As a preview, Januarys PHONE+ will carry a new special section, On Premises, covering CPE and surrounding issues.
