CHANNEL PARTNERS — ChikPea (Booth 545) today debuted its BroadSoft Connector that runs on Salesforce.
BroadSoft is one of the major VoIP applications. A problem, however, tends to be number-provisioning by customers. This takes time and effort, since each number needs to be configured and assigned a service, one-by-one, on the BroadSoft server.
ChikPea’s BroadSoft connector aims to solve that challenge.
Because it runs on Salesforce, the connector enhances the provisioning capability of the company’s order management tool, TOM. Or, the connector can function on a standalone basis by connecting to BroadSoft from inside of Salesforce. This way, assigning, activating and configuring phone numbers and services ends up linking directly to service orders, work orders, accounts and inventory tracking, multiple numbers at a time. This results in less time and money spent on provisioning, and ChikPea says those results are reportable and traceable.
Benefits include using one platform to manage sales and provisioning, and changing services directly from Salesforce. Features include:
Bulk-load DID numbers from external source
Associate/disassociate DID numbers to Salesforce account
Ability to define DID numbers in range and by individual list
BroadSoft Enterprise creation and management
Activation/deactivation of bulk DID numbers
Service authorization
Voice bundle plan provisioning
Ability to add or remove a service specific to numbers
Ability to track numbers by enterprises
Ability to configure handsets over portal
